OMC Parish School prides itself on educating the whole student: academically, emotionally and spirituality. Part of that is our Call to Service, and our Spirituality Committee works with teachers to incorporate the Works of Mercy into classroom lessons. March and April events***
Wednesday, March 6th, 9:00am– Ash Wednesday school wide prayer service.
Friday, March 15th– Students will participate in Stations of the Cross during the school day
Friday, March 15th, 3:15-4:15– The Cast of Mary Poppins will perform scenes from the musical to residents at Fairview Nursing Home
Tuesday, March 19th, 12:10PM– Pleas join us at our liturgy to celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph, planned and served by the 6th grade.
Saturday, March 23rd, 9:30-11:00am– Spring visitation Day with the Saint Vincent de Paul society. Students will accompany Saint Vincent de Paul society members as they deliver flowers and cards made by the 3rd grade. The students will then stay and talk for a little before returning to school. This service opportunity is open to 6th-8th graders and parents are encouraged to attend.
Sunday, March 24th- 7:00-2:00pm– Helping Hands meal packaging event at OMC Parish. Visit the parish website to sign up for a shift.
Friday, March 29th– Students will participate in Stations of the Cross during the school day
Thursday April 4th, 11:15– Please join us at our lenten liturgy, planned and served by the 5th grade.
Friday, April 5th– First Friday Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Please join us in the Oblates chapel on the first Friday of every Month for Adoration. Mr. Cillo will be bringing students over throughout the day to pray and meditate.
Friday, April 12th– Students will participate in Stations of the Cross during the school day
Wednesday, April 17th, 9:00am– School Penance service followed by a lenten retreat.
Saturday and Sunday, April 27th and 28th, 10:00-2:00pm– Spring clothing Drive by St. Vincent de Paul Society in the school’s parking lot. Students in 6th and 8th grade can volunteer to help accept doantions
Parents are invited to come together every Friday that school is in session 8:00-9:00 for prayer and socializing in the parish hall. Prayer intentions can be sent to Mr. Cillo at email@example.com
