Teaching Philosophy
I believe the world is our classroom and feel students learn best through active engagement and making real-life connections. I believe teachers have the power to spark curiosity and build a community of learners. I feel it’s important for students to work together and learn from one another. I think it’s critical to implement different teaching strategies and methods to accommodate all learning styles such as linguistic, auditory, visual, and kinesthetic. I believe monitoring student progress is crucial for academic success and should be used to design coherent instruction. I also feel that it’s important to teach from the heart, expect the unexpected, be mindful, and teach everything with a purpose.
